More than just 6'9: The Aaron Teece Story

How the drive and ambition made me who I am today.

My journey in golf began later than others on my path, as I picked up the game just months before high school. Throughout high school, I honed my skills and competitive spirit on the STPGA tour, where I proudly earned 7 victories. Those wins, along with 7 second-place and 8 third-place finishes (and countless top 10s), fueled my desire to push further and chase bigger dreams. Each tournament, each shot, was a stepping stone towards something greater.

College golf at Central Methodist University was a defining chapter. Being named NAIA Player of the Week 4 times was an honor, but the true highlight was seeing our team rise through the ranks. We claimed the conference title, a victory that propelled us to Nationals at TPC Deere Run—an experience I'll never forget. Those three years were about camaraderie, resilience, and proving that a new program could compete with the nation's best. Earning All-Conference honors twice was a testament to the dedication that I had poured into my game.

My final year at Coker University brought new challenges and triumphs. We battled through conference and regional tournaments, ultimately securing our place at Nationals in Orlando. Contributing to Coker's rise to #11 in NCAA Division 2 rankings was incredibly rewarding.

Every tournament, every win, every setback has shaped me into the golfer I am today. It's been a journey of perseverance, teamwork, and a relentless pursuit of improvement. And this is just the beginning. As I embark on my professional career, I carry with me the lessons learned and the fire ignited during those formative years. I'm ready for the challenges ahead, and I'm excited to see what the future holds.
